The AVefi project , in which the GWDG is involved with four other partners and which aims to automatically collate metadata from film collections held by various institutions, has entered its second funding phase. After successfully establishing the conceptual and technical basis for this during the initial two-year period, the development of a web-based network system for the effective search and comparison of film data is now being seamlessly continued under “AVefi plus” in the three-year second project phase, More….
