GWDG Academy course program for the second half of 2021 published

    The GWDG Academy course program for the second half of 2021 has now been published. Due to the current Corona situation, almost all courses will take place in a suitable online format rather than as presence courses, as has been the case in previous months. You can find more information about this at the respective courses. You can still register for our courses as usual. All registered participants will receive the necessary technical information for taking part in the respective courses in good time after the registration deadline.

    Göttingen Campus institutions involved in five more NFDI consortia

    Also in the second funding round of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI), Göttingen Campus institutions are participating in a total of five new consortia. This was announced today by the Joint Science Conference of the Federal and State Governments (GWK). In the first funding round last October, five Göttingen participations were also included. At the suggestion of the Council for Information Infrastructures (RfII), the GWK launched the NFDI as a funding line to systematically develop, sustainably secure and make accessible data from science and research.     Handover of the new data center to the GWDG

    Today, the University of Göttingen has handed over its currently largest new building project to the future users: After a symbolic handover of the keys, the GWDG is now moving into the new joint data center for the Göttingen science location on the North Campus.
